Mapping Children's Behavioral Intent in Games
Mores Research used Jev to map children’s behavioral intent in games and examine how it correlates with real-world behavior. It reports mapping intents across 45+ real sessions involving 20 child users over a long horizon.

We used Jev to correlate what kids do in games with their real-world behavior
We are unveiling Mores Research where we are using behavioural classifiers (like Typesafe’s Jev) to do long-horizon realtime behavioural intent mapping for paediatric mental health. When we started the lab a few months back, we wanted to learn how behavioural intent of kids in games correlate with their real-world behaviour? Today, we were able to successfully map intents in 45+ real sessions across a sample of 20 different child users in a long horizon, which is ~82% more efficient than a screener. This is significant because therapy and screeners are majorly a one-off process in paediatric mental health with high drop-off rate and low psychological accuracy along with low long-horizon behavioural understanding
The lab describes the approach as real-time behavioral intent mapping for pediatric mental health and says it was ~82% more efficient than a screener. It contrasts the approach with one-off therapy and screeners, which it says have high drop-off, low psychological accuracy, and limited long-horizon behavioral understanding.
