Nicekate built a local video search tool combining Jev and BaoCut to find relevant clips in long videos from a natural-language query.
BaoCut handles subtitle recognition and video export. Jev assesses relevance, whether a clip makes sense out of context, its appeal, and whether it contains the sought information rather than merely matching keywords. Nicekate tested it on their own videos and said it found clips accurately and responded quickly.
